I have had a lot of feedback about my manuals, particularly when it comes to young people (millennials). The feedback I seem to get is that “manuals are old-fashioned, nobody needs to read the manual you can find it all on YouTube!” I have been writing my manuals for over 15 years, so I have a vested interest in talking about manuals. However, it’s not just that I’m passionate about writing the manuals, it’s also that I believe the idea of learning from a manual is the ability to learn in a structured way. While some people believe that you can learn everything you need from a movie, there are some things that need to be shown in pictures, and there are some things that need to be discussed in words.
This website is in response to the feedback that I’ve had about creating resources for Vectorworks that are not manuals. This website is designed to offer you high quality, structured training. Instead of a written manual this website is using a combination of words and movies, laid out in a structured course. The courses have been designed to give you a tested structure, time to practice, and a way to see how these skills can be applied in real-world situations.
So if you are looking for a high-quality course that will show you how to get the best from Vectorworks, you have come to the right place!
